Press release – July 7, 2009 – The V3 Sectional Matrix System by Triodent has been named No 1 Matrix System of 2009 and awarded five stars by Reality in the USA. The same accolade has been awarded to one of the V3 System’s components, the Wave-Wedge, in the wedge category.
The central component of the V3 System is the V3 Ring. The ring’s design gives it wider indications for use, makes it easier to work with and gives predictable results.
The V3 spring is made entirely from super-elastic nickel-titanium (NiTi) for optimal strength and memory. The ring’s glass-fiber reinforced plastic tines have been adapted to match the buccal and lingual surfaces of posterior teeth for reliable retention, and they create an accurate cavity form which saves time spent on finishing.

The Wave-Wedge’s central concavity adapts to the interproximal space for a superior seal on the V3 Matrix, a band notable for its anatomical shape, in particular a marginal ridge which again saves much time in finishing.
