Dentist warns of the perils of travelling to Europe for treatment
BIRMINGHAM patients going to Eastern Europe for cheap dental work have been returning home with damaged nerves and abscesses eating away at their roots, a leading city dentist has warned.
Dr Dinesh Vegad, who runs St Paul’s Square Dental Practice in the Jewellery Quarter, has seen first hand the disastrous results of people trying to save money in the credit crunch – which ends up costing a bigger bill to the patient or the NHS to correct shoddy work.
