Dentists develop needle-free anesthesia
For 145 million people, a new nasal mist developed by a Fort Collins company could put an end to their fear of going to the dentist. St. Renatus, 1000 Centre Ave., expects to soon begin phase III clinical trials of a needle-free anesthesia that numbs the upper teeth without the often-painful shot of anesthesia into the roof of the mouth.
